Well here we are 5 years later and I am using my laptop for term
papers....what gives? I just barely survived my last term at SFCC,
and now I am getting ready to go to EWU. Looks like I need to
finish off my math and English requirements. Finite math here
I come.

anything (because we all are a bit on the poor side this year). Of course they

8/25/2004 Bratt has gone home...and I miss her. I got to get the apartment
ready to rent, I got 3 tenants jumping ship over the next two months. Linux
and summer don't mix, once Bratt was here I didn't want to mess with the
Linux mess. School is starting up again and I hope this is the last term
of my AA.
7/24/2004 Well it is mid summer...and I am not really able to do much with
the time I have...because it is all going to be spent with my daughter Bratt.
We got lots planned this summer and are going to play a lot of 007 on Xbox.
7/10/2004 GOT Mandrake 10 Power Pack today, and installed it. I can't
seem to get my wifi card to work yet and the video took a bit o tweaking.
As for the install...about 45-60 min...I wasn't watching the clock too close.
The thing I was shocked about was the updates....280MB. Good thing
I got cable internet. Right now the score is

6/20/2004 OK, Linux just plan sucks. I am still working on this. It is like a
Top Secret club and none of the members want to release too much
info at one time. When I do find instructions to do something it all ways
seems to need some "cool" lib that someone needed to use....and these
"cool" libs always have download instructions like-

worked out. The way I did it
was by using Ackmid's audio
lib 2.3. You can get the lib
from his server that he runs.
But only on every third Monday
when the local dictator turns on
the power for three hours. You
will need to use something like
Getright to download because
the file is 45MB and Ackmid
only has dialup.
Linux seems to be FULL of these obscure dependencies. Linux
diehards complain about Windows programs being bloated but
that is better than the scramble you have to do to gather up
dependencies that your distro doesn't have installed. Even
with all this crap...I still want to get Linux to work.
5/1/2004 Just thought I would say hi, I haven't found much cool Xbox stuff
not that I have had all that much time to look. I have been working with
Mandrake and it looks like I will get Mandrake 10 power pack. The
whole installing things issue seems to be the biggest obstacle right now.
11/21/2003 School was brutal but I am still alive.....I hated my polysci instructor.
He always turn things around....everything he taught in the class could be used
in a debate and none of it was "wrong" if you used the concepts the right way.
It was crazy annoying. Nothing new to the page...I am lazy.
9/14/2003 School started again. This year is going to be hard....what school year isn't.
I should be looking at getting an AA next Jan (2004) if all goes well. OK the T720 thing
is dead....they suck for games!!!! I think that might become an Xbox page. Linux is
well Linux....and everything needs to be complicated and take toooo much time.
I am going to look in to getting Mandrake 9.2.
7/14/2003 Well there is ALOT to learn about the T720...and WAP/WML in
general. I would like to have a WAP download page if I could figure out
how to write it...so far no go...if any of you out there know how to make
a page that people can use their phones to download apps/games from
please email me and tell me how!!! In the subject please write:

that way it wont get trashed with the rest of the spam.
I now have some LG VX4400 games in mif files and am trying to figure out
what to do with them.
7/9/2003 Seems I am able to post updates again...so here we go.
Right now I am studying up on the T720 and all the fun things it can do
when it is working right.
7/8/2003 I am now back...I have FrontPage again and will start updating.
If you have anything you would like to see email me and I will see what I can

03/20/2003 Finals week-if I survive I will work on the new
FD4300s. I still need to add the 1400x1050 rez mode (Thanks
for reminding me Chee). Seems I forgot to put it in the inf during
one of my late night mod sessions.
03/16/2003 I am working on getting a Linux box up and running and
I will add a new section about my miss-adventures in Linux, and from
what I have seen so far Linux is pretty cool. So far, I have formed a new
opinion for all those Linux-heads who say Linux is better/easier/smaller/faster
than "Micosloth"---THEY ARE FULL OF SHIT!!! but you guys can read about
that later in my Linux
section.
